Green Tea

This one we don’t press, we brew. We searched high and low for a green tea of superior quality and found one high in the hills of Taiwan, the ideal location for quality oolong tea. Unlike other green teas that can finish with a bitter aftertaste, our tea is mellow, smooth and easily enjoyed throughout the day hot or cold.  A Rutgers University evaluation found our Tea to possess an unusually high amount of anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants protect the body cells from the damaging effects of oxidation, prevent various illnesses and help deter the aging process. Also found in our tea was an unusually high amount of Epigallocatechingallate (EGCG), a natural compound found in green tea which helps to fight and prevent many different types of cancer. Statistically our tea has 1.5-2 times more EGCG and 3-5 times more anti-oxidants than any other tea evaluated.
